Disability Somerset to take place in 2012!

Following the successful first Disability Somerset event in May 2011, Compass Disability Services is delighted to announce that its independent living exhibition will take place again in 2012!

The event will be held on Thursday, May 10, once again at the Sedgemoor Auction Centre, just off junction 24 of the M5.

Disability Somerset, the county’s only major independent living exhibition, was hailed a great success when it made its debut in May this year.

Over 100 businesses and organisations showcased a superb range of equipment, products and services, with over 1,000 visitors taking the opportunity to view the wide range of support available.

Compass Disability Services Operations Manager Michelle Edwards said: “The feedback we received after this year’s Disability Somerset was extremely positive, so we’re delighted to announce we’ll be putting the event on again in 2012.

“But we won’t be resting on our laurels. We’ve got lots of ideas to improve the exhibition and would love to hear if anyone has any suggestions to make it even better.”
