We think it is a great watch and advocates why working or volunteering for Compass Disability Services is a great thing to do.

Compass Disability Services is an equal opportunity employer and is therefore using the following guidelines to enable participants to have an equal chance in the recruitment process

With each vacancy you will find a downloadable job description, application form and monitoring form. If you would like an alternative format please click here to contact us. Please quote the job reference code you are interested in.

Short listing
The person or persons who carry out the short listing will look at the application form that you have filled in to compare the skills and experience that you have, with the skills and experiences contained in the Person Specification on the Job Description. The panel will not consider any other information, or make assumptions about the experience that people may or may not have. Unless requested, if further information is attached to the application form (for example, a “C.V.”), this will not be taken into consideration.

This means that it is really important that you clearly describe the skills and experience that you have.

If you are invited to an interview the interviewer will ask further questions relating to the Person Specification to draw out more information about your skills and experience. It is important that candidates give as much detail as possible and do not assume that the panel will know anything about the work that you have done in the past.

Returning your application
Please return the completed Job Application form, along with the Monitoring Form to:

Please ensure your application is returned by the given closing date as no application received after this date will be considered.

Job Opportunities:

Compass Everyday aims to support people with learning disabilities and/or autism, including those with profound and multiple disabilities, to make safe choices. Helping to develop life skills that lead to the life that they want. This day service focuses on supporting people in a meaningful way to help them achieve their potential. All team members need to be creative and innovative, with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering true person centre support.

Volunteering Opportunities:

Here at Compass Disability Services we value our volunteers enormously, there are services that we provide and internal job roles that need to be done which are un-funded under our contracts. Volunteering for Compass not only looks great on any C.V. but it genuinely supports people who need it, and it's often actually fun too!

Sadly due to the Coronavirus Pandemic we are currently unable to provide volunteering opportunities across the organisation. We look forward to welcoming back our volunteers as soon as possible. Any new vacancies will appear here
