Preparing for the Future workshops

Compass Disability Services is offering an opportunity to:

Build your confidence through developing

  • Assertiveness Skills
  • Presentation Skills
  • Techniques to deal with difficult situations
  • Options for potential volunteering or employment

Preparing for the Future is a programme of 4 half day workshops providing practical support and informaion to help you consider how you want to progress in the future.  Funded by SS&L (Somerset Skills and Learning) this is a FREE programme.  It is designed for people who have low level mental health conditions and want to become more self sufficient and regain their sense of independence and control.

The workshops will run over four weeks, one morning per week from 10.00am - 1.00pm. Refreshments and materials will be provided.

Dates are:

Wednesdays - 11th, 18th, 25th April and 2nd May 2018 at Compass Disability Services in Taunton

If there is sufficient demand, a second programme will be run:

Thursdays - 7th, 14th, 20th and 28th June 2018 at Compass Disability Services, Taunton.
